CCTV-3套金牌栏目《欢乐中国行》改版后，栏目组导演于11月上旬就向陈涓发来邀请预约档期，诚邀陈涓参加12月1日改版后节目表演，期待陈涓在栏目中展示男声女声对唱的绝活。陈涓欣然应邀，这是陈涓第三次受邀参加《欢乐中国行》表演，节目在北京星光影视园录制。
在晚会录制中，陈涓是第三位出场嘉宾，陈涓身着少数民族演出服，头戴白色帽饰，一半表现云南白族姑娘模样，另一半呈现云南小伙感觉，唱着云南著名歌曲《马铃儿响来玉鸟唱》，男声女声陈涓一人包揽，嗓音瞬间转换时引起观众阵阵欢呼声，陈涓独特活泼的演唱获得台下阵阵掌声，热烈掌声中包含着观众对陈涓表演的认可和喜爱。一曲唱完，主持人董卿马上在观众面前给大家介绍陈涓的独特服装，还现场采访陈涓从何时开始唱男女声，陈涓落落大方地告诉观众她从1993年就开始唱男女声了，第一次独自唱的对唱歌是《纤夫的爱》，还在现场清唱了几句，董卿还在旁边帮陈涓换侧身，让小伙和女孩造型随歌声同步变换，观众都十分兴奋、十分开心，不停地回报给陈涓热烈掌声……
本期节目是介绍云南景洪，分为“外景队”和“现场队”两个队进行互动，向观众展示景洪好看、好吃、好玩的内容。这次同台表演嘉宾还有王蓉、文章、汤灿、李玉刚、胡彦斌、张瑶、沙宝亮、满江、关牧村、曲比阿乌等...... 节目通过嘉宾才艺的展示，体现云南景洪的自然生态魅力，让观众在欢歌笑语中，体味充满情感的民族诗情画意。节目传递着中华民族传统精神和各民族对未来的美好向往。
