5月18日晚8时，安徽淮北师范大学更名揭牌庆典文艺晚会在四园广场隆重举行，陈涓受邀献歌，为出席揭牌晚会的嘉宾及全校师生表演了土家族男女声对唱歌曲《峡江情歌》和《打糍粑》，陈涓身着她招牌男女土家演出服，以她独特男女声表演打动全场观众，把晚会推向了高潮，全场掌声不断，受到热烈欢迎。
陈涓出场时，先是安静的观众们在陈涓一换装的瞬间立即沸腾起来，陈涓唱男声时就用男装一面对着观众，唱女声时就用女装对着大家，观众似乎有些明白，可能男声和女声都是陈涓一人演绎，但也有点不肯定。就在一曲《峡江情歌》结束后，掌声雷鸣，主持人上来即兴采访陈涓“刚才我们听到男声和女声在对唱，为什么只有您一位在台上表演呢？和您对唱的男歌手呢？他为何没来？”陈涓调皮的回答主持人“来了啊！在这里（陈涓侧着男装一面对着观众笑答）！”观众这才全都明白了，原来男声和女声确实都是陈涓一人演唱，下面爆发出更热烈的掌声回应着。主持人又问“那今晚为大家表演的演员都是和淮北师范大学有关系的，我是这个学校毕业的学生，刚才的舞蹈的都是淮师大在校学生，那您和我们淮师大有什么渊源呢？”陈涓微笑回答“因为淮师大的6名老师几年前来到我的家乡，我有幸参与接待，知道他们是淮师大的老师，很崇敬，就唱了很多歌给他们听，请教他们唱法问题，后来遇到艺术困惑时也经常请教他们，我想我也算是淮师大的编外学生吧，所以应该也算是和淮师大有关系啊！”同学们看着这台上令人称奇的陈涓竟是自己的“编外学姐”，更是大力用掌声、欢呼声支持她了！陈涓接下来又为大家演唱了她首唱的作品《打糍粑》，在热烈的掌声中陈涓走到观众中和嘉宾、同学们握手，大家都被这个有着爽朗笑声、可爱面容的歌坛怪杰陈涓所折服。
晚会内容丰富、形式多样。节目还有激昂热烈的民乐合奏《欢腾的节日》、舞蹈《春的祈祷》、《运河魂》、男生四重唱《追梦•扬帆》、女生四重唱《山水梦•母校情》、《思念》、舞蹈《击鼓踏歌》、《青春飞扬》、舞蹈《红烛颂》、配乐诗朗诵《这是春暖花开的校园》，晚会在《在灿烂阳光下》和《欢乐颂》的大合唱中落下了帷幕。陈涓与全校师生一起度过了一个激情洋溢的夜晚，共享了一场难忘的艺术盛宴。
