宜昌姑娘陈涓，是一个精神充满活力、事业冲向壮阔、个性恬淡宁静的歌手。这个名扬全国的反串歌手，正以她的满腔真情灌制着生命的唱片，以自己独特的风格赞颂生命。她的歌声别具一格，如刻针般给人留下深刻印象：唱男声时浑厚嘹亮宛如三峡雄风、唱女声时温柔甜美犹如长江缓流，一人能唱八种以上唱腔演唱绝技，让世人叹为观止。
男女声反串艺惊央视

快乐童年奠定成功之路
很多歌迷经常问陈涓，你一个娇小玲珑的女孩子，怎会唱出那么豪放的男音？
陈涓笑称，她自己认为男声比女声唱得还要好些。这源于她电视机前的快乐童年。

当时，在市儿童公园管理处上班的妈妈看到陈涓爱唱歌，专门带她向歌舞团的专业老师学了几年，这期间陈涓学会了腹式呼吸，学会了保护嗓子。陈涓对爸爸妈妈都充满了感激，她印象最深的是只要有机会，妈妈就会让她在舞台上唱歌，她模仿男声唱的电视主题歌特别好听，经常博得很多人的掌声，这让陈涓很受鼓舞，越发激发了她用心地唱歌。

陈涓说，人生其实很短暂，一定要干点自己认为有价值的事。她说，有一次席间，我的朋友知道我是慈善大使，便问如何才能在她自己的店里也放一个慈善募捐箱，好让一些有爱心的顾客将零钱捐给更需要的人，次日我便带她到慈善总会，咨询办理方法。她按程序办好一切手续，经过审批她的店领到一个可爱的募捐箱，她很是开心，也高兴，看着朋友们都如此有慈善之心，就仿佛看到世界美好的明天。
