问：您作为宜昌妇女联合会这个界别的政协委员，又是一名积极推动和传播宜昌优秀文化的文艺工作者，代表宜昌两百多万妇女同志的心声，如何更好的开展妇女工作，为大多数女性同胞在追求生活品位、生活质量上有哪些比较好的建议？
答：我目前在市文联组联部工作，负责市文联各个协会和县市区文联之间的组织、联络和协调工作。市文联现有五千多名会员，队伍庞大。可能一方水土养一方人吧，我市优秀的文艺工作者比较多，热爱文艺的会员也比较多，像周德聪、汪国新等都是在全国比较有影响的书法家、画家。我们妇女联合会在前段时间和共青团宜昌市委联合举行了“宜昌市失学儿童阳光基金”成立大会，专门为失学儿童募集资金，使他们能重返校园，我作为文艺工作者参与了这次募集活动。
今年3月陕西省举办了一次“爱在心间”2007年大型义演活动，是几家单位和铁路文工团说唱团共同组织、发起的，我也获邀参与其中，整场活动共募集了五十万的资金，全部用于当地两所希望小学的建设。正因为有各级领导的关心和社会各界人士的支持，我才能够取得今天的成绩，所以也非常希望能将自己所学到的知识回馈于社会，为社会贡献一份力量。
工作期间，我把身边认识的十位很优秀的女性朋友组织起来，想对山里贫困的学生给予一定的帮助，经过准备，我们与五峰县湾潭民族中小学取得联系，由学校挑了十个生活贫困的孩子，我们负责每年对他们的学费进行资助。我认识的一位无锡朋友，已经救助了上千个失学的孩子，与他相比，我们还有许多事情做的不够。我们现在正在拓宽一些渠道，努力搭建平台，更多地举办一些活动，使越来越多的人士来关心失学的孩子，同时我们也呼吁社会多关心弱势群体和失学少年。能尽自己所能去实实在在地帮助别人，我感到生活很开心，也过得很充实，只要有时间、有机会我们将会尽可能多地去做这些有意义的事情。
我连续两届担任宜昌市慈善协会的形象大使，只要是在宜昌演出，所有演出劳务费全部主动捐到协会慈善基金，我要求自己从这一点一滴的小事做起，努力为社会服务。现在整个社会对慈善事业的关注度还不够，市民对慈善协会组织的了解程度还不够高，所以我们需要通过各种活动，加强广大市民对这个慈善组织的了解与认识，扩大宣传。作为妇女界的政协委员代表，应该积极把优秀妇女的一些经验、成果都推介出来，使她们的一些经验能为社会更好的服务。
现在有很大一批下岗的中年妇女，在家无所适从。我在想怎样去开展一个类似于专家讲座这方面的咨询服务工作，走进社区，对提高生活质量、学生教育等方面进行一些启发性的知识讲座，不断提高她们的生活质量意识，也促进她们对美好世界的热爱。许多下岗妇女热衷于打麻将诸如此类一些低层次文化需求，这是不好的一种现象，其实人生当中有许多美好的事物等待我们去发现、去探索。通过开展专家讲座这种形式，使她们充分了解与认识外面的世界，了解到其他一些女性朋友是如何生活与工作的，从而开阔自己的眼界，不断提高生活质量，充分享受生活给人们带来的愉悦感。一个城市的全面发展，不仅在物质上要加快速度，从精神层面及个人素养方面，也要不断的提高，因为城市的发展需要每一个公民的大力支持和真情付出。
问：我们经常看你的演出，请谈谈你在艺术方面所取得的成绩，对宜昌的发展有什么好的建议和想法？

问：目前，对城市名片的建设方面，有什么好建议？
答：宜昌要加快城市化进程，走在中部地区同等城市发展的前列，就是要让更多的外界人士对我们的城市知道、了解地更多，现在城市之间的竞争相当激烈，所以我们城市宣传的方式应该从更大的手笔上做些有助于城市发展的活动。随着我国经济建设的步伐日益加快，各个城市都发展得异常迅猛，怎样让外界知道我们的城市也在发展，也在进步，这需要我们政府和社会把这些年来的建设成就，通过各种各样的形式展现出来，吸引更多地人来这里旅游观光。
我们在民族特色这方面，需要宣传的地方其实很多很多，究竟怎样才能把我们现有的资源做大做强，这就需要我们充分向外界展示城市名片，与国外的友好城市开展一些文化交流活动。城市名片有很多种，诸如展示三峡风光的画册、电视宣传片，甚至一首动听的歌曲，都可能成为我们宜昌的城市名片。宜昌的旅游资源是相当丰富的，需要媒体更多关注、更多宣传，要想留住客人，除了必备的硬件设施条件，对软件服务方面的要求也要提高。我的许多朋友坐火车从远方来，由于所去地方离火车站太近，许多出租车司机就会拒载，作为宜昌这座美丽的旅游城市来说，许多外来游客都是募名而来，所以我们要特别做好软件服务，显示我们的热情，提升城市的形象。
